My month of exploration of the free email marketing software options – MailChimp and MailerLite – has come to an end. I learned a lot along the way, and I hope you did, too! Which software did I choose to be my new biz bestie? Read on to find out!
And the winner is… MailerLite!
I think it’s probably not surprising to you if you’ve read the first three posts in this series that I’m going with MailerLite for my own business. It just has a lot more features than MailChimp, and I think it will take me further toward my business goals.
With that being said, if I were to pay for email marketing software it’d be Active Campaign (all the bells and whistles of ConvertKit and then some, starting at $9/month). For now, though, I’m not prepared to pay for my email marketing, so MailerLite it is!
Why I Chose MailerLite
MailerLite beats MailChimp hands down when it comes to automation and landing pages, two very key features in my business goals. I love how user-friendly it is, and their customer service is amazing (with MailChimp you don’t get to access customer service unless you’re on a paid plan which, quite frankly, sucks).
